Community Services Strategic Plan

The County of Brant is developing a 10-Year Community Services Strategic Plan to guide the future of Community Services in Brant. This includes parks, trails, indoor and outdoor recreation facilities, community programs, cemeteries, green spaces, and trails.

This plan will help us understand and prepare for the needs of our growing and changing community. By setting clear priorities and service standards, we can ensure our facilities, programs, and services continue to improve quality of life for everyone in the community, now and in the future.

We want to hear from you! Your input will help us make informed decisions about where to invest time, resources, and funding to best serve residents and visitors.

Why this plan matters

The plan will:

• Guide future growth – ensuring parks, trails, and recreation facilities keep up with community needs.
• Support healthy, active living – with programs and spaces for all ages and abilities.
• Protect and enhance green spaces and trails – preserving nature and improving access to outdoor recreation.
• Ensure efficient use of resources – planning for sustainable and cost-effective services.
• Strengthen community connections – creating spaces and programs that bring the community together.
