What is the purpose of this project?
The County of Brant is working with local employers to better understand the challenges, opportunities, and resources needed to support inclusive hiring, specifically for job-seekers with disabilities. The insights gathered through the survey and scheduled focused groups will help create practical, business-friendly resources to make inclusive hiring easier and more accessible.

This project aims to provide employers with the knowledge and tools they need to confidently implement inclusive hiring practices.
What will happen with the feedback collected from employers?
Employer input will be analyzed to identify common challenges and best practices. These findings will directly inform the development of freely available toolkits, guides, and training materials designed to support businesses in hiring and retaining employees with disabilities.
Who can participate in this engagement?
We welcome participation from County of Brant business owners, HR professionals, hiring managers, and workforce planners who have experience with or influence over hiring decisions. We aim to hear from local employers at all stages of their inclusive hiring journey - whether they have experience, are considering it, or are facing challenges.
