The County of Brant is excited to announce the expansion of the Paris Optimist Skatepark, at Two Rivers Stadium, next to the Syl Apps Community Centre!

Opened in 2012, the Paris Optimist Skatepark has been a vibrant and popular destination for skaters of all ages. When the original designs were envisioned, a concrete bowl-type feature was desired, but due to budget constraints, this feature was never realized.

We are thrilled to share that the County is now ready to move forward with this initiative, fulfilling the original vision for the park. The addition of a concrete bowl will enhance the park’s offerings and, with your help, we'll also add other features that will provide new and exciting challenges for all skaters!

  • Share We are against an expansion. It will negatively impact the children’s park in very close proximity. Also eliminating the baseball field would be a shame. on Facebook Share We are against an expansion. It will negatively impact the children’s park in very close proximity.
