January 2026 Construction Update

Construction was originally planned to begin fall 2025. The start was delayed to allow for additional planning and coordination related to slope stability along Front Street. This work is important to ensure the safety and long term success of the park improvements.

The construction tender document is currently being prepared and is expected to be posted in the coming weeks with construction anticipated to begin this spring 2026, as weather conditions allow.
