Construction at Onondaga Ball Park is moving forward

The project was awarded to a contractor in April 2026 with construction anticipated to begin in May, and completion targeted for fall 2026.

This project builds on community feedback collected through earlier engagement and will transform the park into a more active and accessible community space.

Planned improvements include:

• Removal of existing infrastructure
• New walking paths, including a looped pathway
• Construction of a multi use sport court for activities like basketball and pickleball
• Installation of a shade structure and seating areas
• Accessible parking improvements
• An expanded playground with new features for a range of ages
• Landscaping and tree planting enhancements
