About the Project

Sanitary trunk sewers on Hillside Avenue and Race Street carry all Paris sewage to the Paris Water Pollution Control Plant located at 120 Race Street. These trunk sewers need to be replaced and up-sized to handle future sanitary flows within the collection system.

The project includes replacement of approximately 700m of trunk sewers including sanitary by-pass pumping, new asphalt surface, curb and gutter, storm sewer adjustments and a new pedestrian sidewalk. Additionally, a comprehensive community walk-ability plan which will detail future and proposed sidewalks throughout the area will

Public Information Meeting was held on Thursday February 16, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm located at the Brant Sports Complex, LaFarge Meeting Room, 944 Powerline Road, Paris.

Please note, a formal presentation was not included at this meeting. Representatives from the County of Brant were present to answer questions and discuss the details of the project and reasonable measures that can be taken to mitigate impacts on day-to-day business.
