Retired walker

I recently retired from being a nurse for 35 years. We joined the Lions club and that has kept us busy over the last five years. We are spending more time at our cottage now. I love to walk my dog and am finding the roads of St. George are very busy and traffic is moving faster. I would love to have a track or trail to walk on. I love walking at the cottage through the forest and on quiet roads and spending more time in nature. Can’t wait to get back to traveling once this pandemic is over. Looking forward to seeing more of our world.

I'm retired and joined the wonderful St. George Lions Club in 2010 and I also became a volunteer director for South Dumfries Non Profit Housing, known as Russell Heights, which will be fully turned over to the County of Brant by July 1st, 2021. We have lived in St. George since 1978 and raised three daughters. Most of the summer we are at our cottage near Parry Sound with the girls, son-in-laws and six grand children. When home I play tennis at the St. George courts. Normally in the winter I curl four times a week in Paris. I utilized the Brant eRide program to get to Paris several times, as we are down to one vehicle. Looking forward to things getting back to normal because even though we walk every day I seem to be saddled with a Covid bulge.
