Over the past three years multiple factors have affected the global economy due to COVID-19 causing major unexpected economic pressures and impacts. At the County, we are continually reevaluating our tactics to best support our local business community. The County of Brant is currently working on a refreshed municipal economic development strategy to further strengthen and diversify the local economy.

Recognizing the importance of inclusive decision-making and community involvement, our goal is to encourage feedback from our diverse community through our online survey, as well as our questions and comments tools. Your input will help us create an updated economic development strategy that is responsive, resilient, and sustainable, ultimately benefiting all members of our community.

All County of Brant businesses, residents, and community organizations were invited to participate in a survey and share general questions and comments about the Economic Development Strategy Update. Engagement closed on September 29, 2023. A special thank you to all who participated and provided feedback!

With your help, we look forward to identifying new opportunities, exploring innovative approaches, and creating updates to our strategy that are forward-thinking and prepares us for future challenges.
