The County of Brant is preparing the draft 2025 municipal budget. The County budget is a detailed financial plan that outlines how funds are prioritized and allocated to various services and projects in order to respond to the needs of our growing community. It covers essential services such as roads and infrastructure, parks and recreation, emergency services, community development initiatives, and more!

    Holiday Hours

    County of Brant Customer Service Offices will be closed on Tuesday, December 24 at 12:00 pm and will re-open on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 8:30 am.

    • A number of services are available online at brant.ca/onlineservices.
    • For urgent (non-emergency) matters, call 519.44BRANT (519.442.7268), 1.855.44BRANT and stay on the line to be connected to an after-hours answering service.

    Attended Committee Meetings

    The County of Brant's draft budget documents will be available to the public starting January 10, 2025.

    Committee of the Whole meets on the Proposed 2025 County of Brant Budget on:

    • January 16, 2025 at 9:00 am
    • January 22, 2025 at 6:00 pm
    • February 6, 2025 at 9:00 am
    • Budget approval will take place February 25, 2025 at 6:00 pm


    Full details are outlined in the timeline on this page. The meetings take place in person inside Council Chambers and are open to the public. They are also available for viewing live or previously recorded, on the County of Brant's YouTube Channel.
