Operating since 2019, Brant Transit is the County’s public transportation program. We are currently seeking community feedback to better understand how satisfied you are with the Brant Transit service and how we can improve it.

Brant Transit’s current service includes a fleet of vans that assist residents with transportation anywhere in the County of Brant as well as transportation from the County of Brant to the City of Brantford and from the City of Brantford to the County of Brant.

Brant Transit is fully accessible and cost effective with a flat fee for a one-way trip.

  • Riders (Ages 13-54)………. $5
  • Seniors (Age 55+)………….$3
  • Children (Ages 12 and under) and support persons are free

Our current service is not the same as a taxi or an Uber, as Brant Transit is a shared ride service. This means that users will likely be sharing a ride with other riders and there may be multiple stops on the way to their destination.

Members of the public were invited to participate in a survey to share feedback about the County’s public transportation program, Brant Transit. Engagement closed on September 30, 2023. A special thank you to all who participated and provided feedback!

Youth in cities have way more independence due to high quality public transit to get around. A major focus on this project should be to cater to middle school and high school students so they don't need to rely on parents or their own vehicles to move between the major centres.

Survey isn't designed very well. All questions mandatory and it asks both about your experiences on transit and why you've never taken it? I've never taken but have feedback about the future goals / vision but don't want to spoil your data relating to the service quality which I know nothing about.

A reliable source to connect via rails and Go bus station in early mornings to commute to GTA from Paris is the need of the hour. Many travel to work as companies now wanting employees to come to office 3 days a week.
