Stormwater Utility Program, report and recommendations to be brought forward May 7
Thank you to all who participated in public consultation for the Stormwater Utility Program. Through Public Information Centres, online surveys, interactive mapping, and questions from the community, residents provided insights and perspectives on the proposed program aimed at enhancing stormwater management within our community.
"We are grateful to everyone who took the time to share their thoughts, concerns, and suggestions regarding the Stormwater Utility Program," said Andrea Bazzard, Director of Environmental Services with the County of Brant. "Your input has helped shape the recommendation being brought forward to the Policy Development Committee."
The feedback received during the consultation period has been analyzed and compiled into a comprehensive report. This report, alongside project recommendations, will be presented at the upcoming May 7 Policy Development Committee meeting. During this meeting, key information will be shared with the Committee, supported with a summary of public feedback.
"We encourage all members of the community to stay engaged and learn more about stormwater management within the County," emphasized Bazzard. "Your continued participation is vital as we work together to help educate the public and prepare effective solutions for managing stormwater and safeguarding the environment throughout the community we call home."
