Funding Update

Update May 20, 2021:

The proposed attainable housing development known as Phase 2 at 50 Russell Heights Street in St. George has been paused and will commence at a later date.

The funding under the Federal Rapid Housing Initiative Program was not successful in the last round. However, new dollars have been allocated to the fund for this fiscal year and we are awaiting approval of the budget to reapply for the program.

The County of Brant appreciates all community feedback and input on the future development concepts and will continue to keep the local community up to date when the project proceeds.

County of Brant staff would also like to thank Flourish/ Indwell for their collaboration, partnership and expertise to date.

The County of Brant looks forward to working with the community and partners to develop future attainable housing in the municipality.
