FAQs
What do you mean by support services?
Support Services help residents meet basic needs and improve well being. This can include food supports, housing help, mental health and addictions supports, accessibility supports, supports for seniors and caregivers, employment supports, newcomer supports, and help navigating services and systems.
Why focus on rural communities?
Rural residents can face unique barriers. Distance, transportation, limited hours, and fewer nearby options can make it harder to get help. We want to provide solutions that fit unique rural life.
Are you saying our community has poor services?
No, not at all. We know many supports exist and many people work hard to help others. We are asking where access is difficult, what could work better, and how we can help.
Will my feedback be confidential?
Yes. Survey responses will be summarized and reported in grouped themes with no identifiable information shared.
What if I need help right now?
If you are in immediate danger, please call 911.
