Notice of Adoption

On April 14, 2026, the Council of the County of Brant adopted By-law 42 26, approving the Rural Prosperity Community Improvement Plan (RPCIP) under Section 28 of the Planning Act. The RPCIP applies to the County of Brant outside of the settlements of Paris, St. George and Burford. This Plan provides financial incentive programs to support rural economic development, housing, and agriculture-related and tourism-related business growth.

This decision of Council is final unless appealed to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) by May 5, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. For more information on the right to appeal a decision of Council under the Planning Act, please reach out to planning@brant.ca for assistance. Only those who made oral or written submissions to Council before the adoption of the plan may have the right to appeal.
