The County of Brant Council has directed Staff to undertake the development of a Long-term Financial Plan (LTFP) to inform spending decisions over the next 10 years.

Recognizing the importance of long-term financial planning that ensures sustainable growth, efficient resource allocation, and the delivery of high-quality services to residents, this plan aims to balance the following priorities.

  • Repair/replacement of infrastructure and assets
  • Maintaining and improving service levels
  • Planning for costs and revenues associated with growth
  • Preparing for major initiatives and funding commitments
