Project update: February 2026

Construction is continuing on the Dundas Street East, Paris Road, and Oak Park Road reconstruction project. This work replaces aging underground infrastructure and prepares the area for future growth.

Where we are and where we're going

Through summer 2025 work has progressed on Dundas Street East and Governors Road, including major underground servicing. Some delays have occurred due to site conditions and project complexity.

Construction will begin again 2026 and continue through 2027 as work moves along Paris Road and Oak Park Road. Road resurfacing, new curbs, sidewalks, and lane improvements will follow underground servicing.

What to expect this spring

As construction begins again in the spring, lane reductions will continue during daytime construction, with two way traffic in the evenings and on weekends. Expect delays and plan extra travel time. Access to homes and businesses will also be maintained throughout construction with clear signage and detour routes available.
