Yes. Access requires a valid dog licence and an active dog park membership, which includes proof of up-to-date rabies and DA2PCPV vaccinations. 

To purchase a membership, visit the Membership section on the COB Connect webpage.

To purchase or renew your dog licence, visit the County of Brant's dog licensing webpage. Please note that dog licenses are to be purchased from the municipality you reside in. 

Memberships can be purchased online through the COB Connect webpage. After payment, proof of vaccinations and a valid dog license must be emailed to community@brant.ca. Once processed, a key will be mailed to you or made available for pickup at the Brant Sports Complex in Paris. 

A members-only model ensures that all dogs have up-to-date vaccinations and licences, promoting safety and accountability among users. It also allows for better management of park capacity and maintenance.

Opening the park to the public could increase a sense of community among dog owners and provide more residents with access to recreational space for their dogs.

Community input will help inform the County's decision on the park's access policy and identify areas for operational improvements to better serve residents and their dogs.

Yes. Key rules include: 

• keeping dogs within view
• limiting to three dogs per visitor
• ensuring dogs are over six months old
• do not bring food, treats, or toys into the off-leash area.
