Open House Receives Excellent Turnout and Feedback
The Arts, Culture, and Heritage Open House on Wednesday, September 20, welcomed over 60 community members and Arts, Culture, and Heritage professionals.
“The Arts, Culture and Heritage Open House at Wincey Mills provided a warm, welcoming space for the community to make connections, ask questions, and share their creative vision for the future of arts, culture, and heritage across the County of Brant,” said Kayla Cicman, Arts, Culture, and Heritage Officer with the County of Brant. “Thank you to all who came and all who are contributing to the creation of a new and exciting Arts, Culture and Heritage Strategy.”
Attendees engaged in great conversations, enjoyed delicious treats crafted by the local market vendors, and reflected on what culture in Brant means to them.
“It is clear you are listening to what we need most. That is gratifying and hopeful,” said Nancy Carubba PMP, Museum Manager at Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead in St. George. “It was a wonderful evening, a great casual environment to have open forum discussions with (what for me are some new faces) and great connections.”
Thank you to all who attended and provided their valuable feedback.
This project is now closed. The Arts, Culture and Heritage Strategy received Council's unanimous approval on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Thank you for your participation!
