Council approves the 10-year Community Services Strategic Plan

County of Brant Council approved the Community Services Strategic Plan on February 24, 2026. This 10-year plan will guide how the County plans, manages, and invests in parks, recreation programs, community facilities, cemeteries, and green spaces to support a healthy and active community.

The plan was shaped through community engagement and reflects the ideas, priorities, and experiences shared by residents throughout the process. Public input helped identify key areas of focus including recreation programs, trails and green spaces, accessibility, facility maintenance, and opportunities for new amenities and services across the County.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate by completing a survey and sharing their thoughts online. Your feedback played an important role in shaping a plan that supports a healthy, active, and engaged community for years to come.
