The County of Brant is excited to engage with County of Brant residents regarding the 2022 proposed budget. The proposed budget for 2022 is still a work in progress and public input is needed to ensure we are meeting the needs of our residents.
County of Brant staff were directed by Council to prepare a proposed 2022 operating budget that:

includes decision packages that would increase or add services

County of Brant staff were directed by Council to prepare a proposed 2022 operating budget that:
maintains the current level of service
includes decision packages that would increase or add services
County of Brant staff were also directed by Council to prepare a proposed 2022 five-year capital forecast:
to fund maintenance and/or replacement of existing assets/infrastructure with a capital tax levy of $12,665,702
to include decision packages for the purchase/construction of new assets

The County of Brant encourages public input through Engage Brant prior to the Committee of the Whole meeting on November 30, 2021. Feedback can also be submitted via email to Heather Mifflin
All constructive feedback and recommendations will be presented to Council for consideration.
