The Burford Optimist Club and a group of Burford youth, with support from the County of Brant, are leading the way to improve the recreational amenities in Burford.

Parents and youth in the Burford area have expressed the desire to update the skateboard/scooter park located at the Burford Community Centre. Skate parks provide great outdoor activity for youth who don’t play, or can’t afford, organized sports.

Construction for the Skate Park is targeted for summer 2023.
